Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Group of 5, came to try out this place around 8 PM. Initially saw a long queue of people waiting outside, but we luckily managed to get a number and waited for a little while to get seated eventually. Food is pretty good with sizable portions enough for everyone. We ordered the homemade sizzling tofu, salted fish pork belly pot, fried potato leaves & shrimp with own made sauce. Parking is rather limited during peak hours, need to park slightly further and walk. Some places have dim lights, so he careful."
"Special for the day was the dry curry pork ribs. Very flavorful, just beware of the minute bones. Crab was fresh and fantastically stir fried with right amounts of pepper. Dong po pork is tad too fatty for my taste, but should be wonderful for those who relish in it."
"Nice food, but reservation hv little difficulty. I believe they hv their way to do the work, need to follow them to have a good food. Price reasonable. My friend introduced me to here, the price slight moderate lesser den the other similar place"
"I came here was recommend by my uncle he every lunch come over eat but this time I came here was celebrate chap Goh meh dinner was super fully booking n v was at vip room luckly but oso wait quite long for the food but last oso all dish comes out and fish was fresh and the Lou sang taste nice and the prawns and others food all was very delicious , the pork not too tendor if the pork make more soft will b more tasty and the shark fin was very thick"
"Ordered the kam heong crabs and spring onion venison. Both were delicious. The crabs were quite fresh and cooked nicely. Kam heong was a bit spicy with added saltiness from the mini-shrimp. Venison was juicy and tender, delicious. Services were OK despite many customers dining in. Everything seems systematic. Would recommend to make a reservation as it is usually full during weekends."
"The food here is very good. In fact every dishes that we have are very good. Their specialty is pork ribs with BBQ sauce and curry pork ribs. The service is very fast and the staff is friendly. The prices are reasonable too. Great value for money. It's a great place to enjoy a good meal with family and friends. There are plenty of street parkings."
"A popular restaurant hidden within a residential area. Serves tai chow dishes and popular with seafood. The crabs were fresh and tasty at RM140/kg. Recommended to make reservations especially on weekends. Restaurant noise level very loud though!"
"Excellent Was recommended by a friend to this restaurant and I'm happy to say that it was an excellent choice. The Pak Sok Kung (RM80/kg) was perfectly steamed. The fish was fresh, succulent, and flavoursome. The pork ribs did not disappoint as the meat was tender, sweet, and cooked with perfection. Their signature Claypot Kangkong was also delicious, cooked in aromatic sambal, and paired with crispy pork lard. 0verall we were very satisfied with the dishes we ordered and were already planning our next trip here. Kipidap My 3rd visit here and the Pak Sok Kung was excellent again. The soy sauce mix was sweet, savoury and flavoursome. Complimented the fish excellently. The Choy Lan Chicken was also delicious with enough ginger condiments to go with it. Will definitely be coming back here again."
